This sealant tape was designed to have lower room temperature surface tack than our standard GS# 43MR Sealant allowing for reposition of the vacuum bag film if needed
and has excellent adhesion to a variety of films and tooling surfaces, as well as excellent release/clean up from tooling post-cure, either hot or cool.
Description Details
GS# 43MR-LT Sealant is an ultra-premium high temperature vacuum bag sealant tape formulated from a blend of advanced synthetic rubbers developed for long cure cycles. This sealant tape was designed to have lower room temperature surface tack than our standard GS# 43MR Sealant allowing for reposition of the vacuum bag film if needed after film has contacted the sealant tape. It has excellent adhesion to a variety of films and tooling surfaces, as well as excellent release/clean up from tooling post-cure, either hot or cool. GS# 43MR-LT is ideally suited for oven and autoclave cure cycles from room temperature to 450°F (232°C).
