GS# SFTS-1 Sealant is a partially cross-linked butyl tape that exhibits aggressive tack to most clean and dry surfaces. This unique self-fusing sealant offers a high cohesive strength, excellent elasticity and weathering characteristics which allows GS# SFTS-1 Sealant to endure expansion, contraction, vibration and joint movement. This product was specifically designed to seal and protect medium voltage cable splices up to 35 kV. GS# SFTS-1 Sealant can withstand harsh environments of direct buried, manhole, or external weather exposed applications.
