GS# Quiet Patch is an extruded butyl sealant formulated from a unique blend of butyl rubbers which characteristics provide for excellent sound dampening. This product is typically cut in custom sized pads with a backing such as aluminum, fabric, or polyethylene applied to one side and a release liner applied to the tacky butyl side. This pressure sensitive sealant has excellent sound and vibration absorption, will conform to irregular shapes, and will withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. GS# Quiet Patch is typically used by OEM automotive, appliance, trailer & RV manufacturers for its sound dampening properties.
